Priscilla Shirer and Sarah Jakes Roberts, dynamic preachers and daughters of popular pastors, will take center stage at this year’s ‘Woman, Thou Art Loosed!’ — dubbed as the decades-old conference’s “grand finale.”
More than 20,000 women from around the world are expected to attend virtually and in-person when ‘Woman, Thou Art Loosed!’ 2022 kicks off September 22 in Atlanta, according to a press release.
Among the listed guests are business leaders such as Cynt Marshall, CEO the Dallas Mavericks, and Valerie Love, senior vice president North America for the Coca-Cola Company. Musical guests include Fantasia Barrino Taylor, Micah Stampley, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Kierra Sheard, and several others.
Attendees will likely be excited to hear inspirational messages from Shirer and Jakes Roberts, daughters of Texas pastors Tony Evans and T.D. Jakes, respectively. Both women are expected to speak on the second day of the conference
Shirer, who boasts nearly 2 million social media followers, is author of such popular titles as Fervent and the Elijah: Faith and Fire Bible study. Her messages are some of the most-viewed on YouTube. She speaks and hosts conferences through her Going Beyond Ministries. Likewise, Jakes Roberts is author of the bestseller Woman Evolve and Lost and Found. Influencing more than 4 million online followers, her individual sermons have been watched millions of times on YouTube, as well. In a recent Los Angeles Times profile, Jakes Roberts’ husband, pastor Touré Roberts described her as “shattering stereotypes” about the modern Christian woman.
In addition to hearing from Shirer and Jakes Roberts, attendees will see Bishop Jakes, senior pastor of The Potter’s House, Bishop Dr. Carolyn D. Showell of First Apostolic Faith Church, and Serita A. Jakes, co-pastor of The Potter’s House, and other speakers take the stage.
The conference first began in Atlanta nearly 30 years ago, and proved so popular that it was adapted into a bestselling book and an award-winning film starring Kimberly Elise.
The “Woman, Thou Art Loosed! The Grand Finale” conference takes place at the Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia, from September 22-24.
