Christians have been turning to the Bible more and more as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues. In fact, five particular Bible verses have been getting a lot of attention in light of the coronavirus.

What are the coronavirus-related verses currently getting special attention? Take a look at the list below to find out.

Hebrews 13:16 – Be Generous

New Living Translation: And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.

English Standard Version: Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

King James Bible: But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Psalm 91:1-2 – God Will Protect

New Living Translation: Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.

King James Bible: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

2 Chronicles 7:14 – God Will Forgive

New Living Translation: Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

English Standard Version: [I]f my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

King James Bible: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Timothy 1:7 – Don’t Fear

New Living Translation: For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Philippians 4:6-7 – Don’t Worry

New Living Translation: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

English Standard Version: [D]o not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

King James Bible: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
