Gospel Today Passes Torch to Faithfully Magazine as Source for Urban Christian Communities

Gospel Today Publisher and Faithfully Magazine Founder Issue Statements

From 1988 to 2012, Gospel Today magazine provided a generation of leaders and thinkers with information, inspiration, entertainment and empowerment in each printed issue and online. Today’s generation of leaders continues to find community and content through new mediums. Gospel Today is proud to support the next generation of Christian thought leaders and change agents. As such, the GospelToday.com domain has been redirected to faithfullymagazine.com — a news and culture publication centering on Christian communities of color. With substance and clarity, Faithfully Magazine has distinguished itself as the news organ for today’s urban Christian community and Gospel Today is proud to share Faithfully Magazine with readers around the world.

With Great Joy,
Roland Hairston, II
Publisher, Gospel Today

When I decided in 2016 to finally take the step to publish Faithfully Magazine and center faithfullymagazine.com on the concerns and interests of Christian communities of color, one of the first people I turned to was Roland Hairston, publisher of Gospel Today magazine. Because of Gospel Today’s history as the leading source for urban Christian communities, I knew there was much I could learn from Roland about serving our target audience in meaningful and effective ways. I was grateful to have him join the publication as an Advisor for that purpose. We remain honored and humbled by Roland’s confidence in Faithfully Magazine as a reliable source for Christian communities of color, and value his wisdom as we continue to press forward with that mission as our guide.

To our new readers and visitors courtesy of GospelToday.com, we welcome you to Faithfully Magazine and hope you find our content inspiring, timely, and engaging. Although our Web Exclusives and From The Magazine content are only accessible to publication Partners with a digital subscription, we have relaxed the website’s paywall so that you can freely explore the website and get to know us. We look forward to serving you.
