Sarah Jakes Roberts Touts Community and Connection for Woman Evolve 2023

Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Woman Evolve platform will hold its first major event since the popular preacher took over her father, T.D. Jakes’ Woman, Thou Art Loosed! ministry last year.

“It’s not about what women can build on their own but going further together through Woman Evolve as opposed to doing this fast and alone,” Jakes Roberts said in a press release. “I believe the power of connection and community allow us to facilitate a chartering of new paths so that we can go forward deeper and together.”

The two-day Woman Evolve women’s conference will be held September 14-16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Among the listed guests are Brené Brown, Yvonne Orji, DeVon Franklin, David Mann, Dr. Anita Phillips, and several others. Bishop T.D. Jakes, Touré Roberts, and Serita Jakes also get top billing in the lineup.

As Faithfully Magazine reported in October, Bishop Jakes passed the mantle for the iconic Woman, Thou Art Loosed! Conference to his daughter in dramatic fashion.

“After 30 years of Woman, Thou Art Loosed! and 45 years of preaching the Gospel, the time has come that I must decrease, and you must increase,” Jakes said during the conference. “This is not an inheritance; this is a calling. You are not standing on this stage for family legacy. This is not a favor, but a divine assignment that Woman, Thou Art Loosed! must evolve.”

Sarah Jakes Robers and her husband, Touré Roberts pastor The Potter’s House Church in Denver, Colorado, and One LA in California — also a Potter’s House Church affiliate.

Jakes Roberts published the bestselling book Woman Evolve: Break Up with Your Fears and Revolutionize Your Life in 2021. The preacher, 35, has a major online presence. She has about five million social media followers, and her sermons on YouTube have millions of views.
