Gospel star Tye Tribbett was recently involved in an accident that required him to be rushed to the hospital for minor surgery. He was advised to rest from The Reunion Tour, but Tribbett pushed through and made an appearance anyway.
According to his wife, Shante Tribbett, the famous recording artist was packing for the West Coast run of The Reunion Tour when the accident occurred. He suffered a gash to his face that required stitches.
Shante Tribbett said at the time that her husband was doing well and was expected to make a full recovery. However, he had been advised by doctors to rest and avoid singing for the time being. Taking time to rest would affect his ability to perform on the West Coast run of The Reunion tour.
‘I’m Gonna Be All Right’
However, Tribbett decided to press forward with the tour.
“I’m just believing that I’m gonna feel better,” Tribbett said in a video published to social media. He made the remarks while on a flight after getting stitches.
“I believe I’m gonna be all right,” he added in the November 4 video.
Prayers up for Tye, he was rushed to the emergency room early this morning.
